Well, I partially redeemed myself today, warm again tho cloudy.

Yesterday I started the task of removing the ornamental grass up near the top of driveway,
it gets in the way of piling thrown snow from the county plow wash,
got the cinch straps threaded thru then lost all energy.

Today I got the 100+ feet of extension cord laid out and cut those suckers down with hedge trimmers, hauled the bundles off to the woods in the tractor cart, then put all the gear away.

Am feeling puny and tired but rather satisfied.

Me too. I dug a 20' trench about a foot deep in my heavy soil garden. Down to the orange-brown clay. I'm going to plant some grape vines there next spring. I'd really like to dig another foot down, but I'm not sure I can. That stuff is HEAVY.

Pumpkin seeds and chicken feed!
I made porkchop, sauerkraut, greenbean, and apple soup for dinner!
There is still a little bit on the stove...

Well i am going to look for an enclosed trailer. I figure i can put my ceramic stuff and gear in there, and not have to repack each time
