Another idea for a poll. :
What is the size of your chickens (and why?)
Small bantam (under 800 gr)
Bantam (800 - 1500 gr)
Normal (1500 gr - 2,5 kg)
Large (2,5 - 4 kg)
Xtra Large (over 4 kg)

I’m not sure if the weights are correct. And rooster are often about 15% bigger.
But with some corrections thus might be a nice poll.

Another poll idea:
How old was the oldest rooster you ever had ?

• my oldest rooster was no more than 5 years old
• my oldest rooster was between 5 and 8 years old
• my oldest rooster was between 8 and 10 years old (and please tell us how old)
• my oldest rooster was more than 10 years old (and please tell us how old)
• I always cull, sell or give away my cockerels because I can’t keep roosters.

I’m curious what killed them (if you know) when all you’re roosters die young. And also how the old roosters lived and what feed they got.

I seems like one of the moderators is posting a poll every month! This would be really great!

Poll idea:
Did you ever assist in hatching an egg?
- no never had hatching eggs
- no I leave it up to a broody
- no I leave it up to the incubator
- yes because it was over 23 days
- yes because the other chicks all hatched
- yes because the egg had pipped and I assisted after 24 hours

Would it be nice to post this? You’re welcome to post it if it was never a poll before and please improve my idea /language.

Thanks. but I don’t see this filter on my phone. Im 95% of my BYC-time on a i-phone. Do uou know what icon or path I need to take on a phone too?
