Call duck colour genetics

If anyone can tell me anything about these guys, I'd appreciate it. Also, does anyone think they are a bit fat? They look a touch porky to me!

They look like snowy calls




The duck at the top of this pic is the same as the first pic. This is him as a juvie, the top is him now with his adult feathers

Hi guys I have got a pic of the mallard coloured feathers.

Maybe but why would he show chocolate colouring in his baby feathers?

Thank you so much for that! So now I know I call them snowy how lovely. Your little white one in there looks a lot like my Leelu.

Thanks buff goose guy, this was a great link but didn't have what I was looking for unfortunately! They have me stumped! I guess I will just have to wait until they are all feathered out

So guys, an update for you they are now 5 months old and on thief adult plumage. The drake looks like a lighter dusky and the hen is like a gray but apricoty!
