Ooh! It's cheesy, I know, but it reminds me of Harry Potter and the prophecy where Dumbledore warns Harry that prophecies are most often self-fulfilling, given the suggestion of what is to come. Meaning, Voldemort chose Harry as his nemesis, even though the prophesy did not specifically say it was him, just coincidentally mentioned his birth-month. Could have been anybody but he panicked given the ominous message. Anyway...
