Dominant vs ressesive genes in silkies and cochins

I need this info for a school project!

what genes are dominant and recessive in a silkie/cochin?

also what is dominant and recessive in an americauna, buff orpington and a mille fleur?

What genes are dominate or recessive in all chickens will be the same. Its the combinations of those many genes that will give the birds their shapes and colors. Maybe be more specific with your question.

OK, well I really need info about it so yeah......
I'd like to know like if a silkie and Cochin is breeded then what would be the dominant and ressesive genes, I just need to know more about it, could someone explain?

To get you started on your project, in silkies, the silkie feathering is recessive. Cochins shouldn't carry that recessive gene.

Cochins have single combs, which is also recessive. Silkies shouldn't carry the gene for single combs (but some do have it).

Crests and extra toes on silkies are also dominant.

What kind of information is it you want? The chicks will be smooth feathered, feather legged, likely have extra toes, a partial crest and a walnut comb unless the silkie has a single comb or carries single comb.
