We just realized we had a Dom pullet. This is our first flock and it pretty awesome. My daughter named her Chickers. At 9.5 wks, she is such a little lady. So sweet. When I sit in the run with them she perches on my knee. Food or not. What a doll.

Only a few blue laced red wyandottes that I got at a day old, they are 5 weeks old now.
The domimiques are very skiddish, understandable, new place and people.
How long can I expect it to be before they warm up to me? I know out will take time.
My blrw follow me everywhere and are very friendly, I'm just hoping that they will be too. From the reattach that I've done, they seem to be a sweet chicken.

So the Wyandottes have a month head start, don't worry, they'll come around. The key to every chicken's heart is food. Stand out with them and toss scratch, they'll learn to love you every bit as much as the BLR.
