I have a Favaucana rooster ordered from MyPetChciken.com. Not very people friendly (he's sort of flighty) but sweet to the hens.

I have one, she just started to lay beautiful green eggs. Out of 2-1/2 weeks, she only missed 2 days. On one day, she laid 2 eggs. She is super sweet and friendly. Fairly quiet... The perfect chicken!!!

Does anyone know if the cross has to be Faverolle × Ameraucana or can it also be Faverolle × Araucana? What are the differences if it's Faverolle × Araucana?

Did you do your own experimental breeding for the Favaucana or were these ordered from another breeder? BTW - pretty birds!

No I bought those from a lady ...I have hatched many chicks.the dad favaucana and mothers ameraucanas and they favaucana they all look like favaucanas .
