Febuary hatch a long

Congrats you guys! That's so exciting!

I've just gone thru my suspected bad eggs. Lost 14/25 eggs due to infertiles & blood rings in the first week. I'm not totally surprised, as these are early eggs from my flock. Lockdown is Sunday.

Well... I have a chick! Must have hatched sometime this morning without my knowledge. So cute. And so tired. The egg on the far right has a pip! They are both rir. So excited right now. These two were really small pullet eggs that were in the freezing cold for a while so I wasn't expecting much. Its been a while since i incubated anything,I almost forgot how incredibly amazing and satisfying this is.

I had another one hatch

That makes a total of 2 for me out of 7 eggs. This one was a surprise, because there were no visible pips. Still impatiently waiting for something to happen with the others, but no sign of anything yet.
