Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Oh @Wisher1000

Alright. The owner of the Sumpak was Dodong. He will most likely we terminated on Wednesday.

We started a new guy a week ago that is officially the farm manager. I really need to have the place run independently of my poor abused wife. I am very excited about Syrel starting. He has lots of experience.

After a week at the farm, friction started to develop. It was then that Dodong mentioned his sumpak. Ida was on the way to the farm that morning. We were concerned for Syrel as the caretaker/gardener is Dodongs cousin. Dodong and Jun were teaming up against their new supervisor. I have little concern that Dodong would ever use it on him, but we had to get the gun off our property. Ida asked him for it and he obliged,

There are more issues than that. Birds counts are not accurate. The inventory was completed prior to Agrilink. When we went to ship we were short. Our whole hatch failed a week ago and we got 4 chicks out of 200 set this week. Dodong has lost is interest. He borrowed a big chunk of money of us. He wanted to get an advance on his bonus but we refused - we said he could pay it back with 16 payments over 20 weeks- so if he had something come up, he could ship up to 4 payments. Since then he has resented the refusal to advance bonus. What he does not realize is he will now lose it all.

We need to wait until wednesday as Syrel needs a few more days there with dodong. We have experienced staff waiting to be told to start.

I will fill in more soon

Oz,

I'm available to help out. That is if you could convince my wife to leave CdO.

Better be careful she may read this.

But seriously speaking my friend I hope everything works out soon for you. I know it's tough and with all you have gone through
so far, I have no doubts that you and your wife will handle this.

Best of luck.

Jimmy

He was tasked with observing and integrating.

We introduced him as farm manager a week ago
