Green usually means bruising. I don't see what you are calling green or any sludgy stuff.I’ve noticed that my turkey’s neck has green sludgy stuff on it, and it’s attracting fly’s on his neck. If there is something sludgy on there, take some warm soapy water with a soft cloth and try to gently wash it off. When done, rinse with clean warm water.
