Rory glanced over her shoulder as two of the people got out of the booth

Xatia smiled pleasantly and walked over to the female. She took a seat a short distance away from Rory at the counter. "Hello. How are you?" She asked in way of greeting. She then looked back to the others a moment, before she focused upon Rory again. "Hear anything interesting? " She queried.

" I'm fine. Oh, just something about Racine taking the throne and the delivering of some Miss Keldwyn to a lake. How are you? "

Cicero was intriguing by that. Even if it was simply a jest. "What is this 'desert'? I have never heard it before. " He asked quietly.
"It's simply an area that is drier and hotter, its climate is different. Its animals, plants, and insects are different as well, since only certain creatures can live in that environment." Islanzadi explained to him simply.

Slygotha noticed Reaper waiting for her at the water's edge. Allowing her massive head to break the surface gently, her eyes blinked several times with a quiet snick as she took in the moonlit meadow. There was forest all around, but it looked like several had fallen down here, and the damp forest had not yet reclaimed the space. There was enough room for the small ones to get a real feel for maneuvering in the air and learning to use terrain. Nidhogg looked around in wonder; none of the wyrmlings had ever been outside past the swamp just outside their cave. Everything seemed so big! Gugol snorted. She felt this was all a waste of her time, but to defy the broodmother would invite trouble, so she stood by patiently waiting. Trogdor pulled himself clumsily to the shore, capering among the boggy overgrowth.
" Let's go, broodmother!" He shouted as he raced ahead in the direction they were all looking. Glancing back at them, the runt ran into an overturned stump with a thud.
Slygotha heaved herself from the water, a serpentine smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. She looked back to Reaper, stating," it's perfect."

Reaper beamed proudly at his mates words. He then turned his attention to the Wyrmlings still in the water. Valstrath fluttered his wings to shake off the excess water, as he crawled up the riverbank. He looked around cautiously and tentatively sniffed the air. Nevitha however, was less cautious, for she bounded through the reeds at the slightest movement and pounced upon a big fat river rat. Completely underestimating the combat readiness of the strange creature, not to mention it's significantly larger size, until they were engaged in a struggle of life or death. Razeth the opportunistic one, had slipped silently up behind the battling pair and lunged forward at the back it's neck, when it was forced upon his sister, with instinctually efficiency he snapped it's spine. He tipped back this head and called out his victory, obviously quite proud of himself. But Nevitha had no intention of sharing the rat, for she dragged its carcass away, while he was distracted. Reaper watched the whole series of events amused and delighted at his devious daughter.

" Fascinating." Cicero said softly, as he thought of just what such an environment would look like.
