Probably a silly question but do they ever try to roost or get up on this feeder or is it too close to the corner?

My chicks tried to roost on it when they were little but with no success. Now that they are about grown they don't even try.

What a brilliant idea! I love it.

Hopefully it will work for my quail too as they get through feed like no ones business because they jump in the bowl and kick it out the door etc and make a hell ova mess! Hopefully this will help curb the problem somewhat.
