how can you tell the gender of a chicken?

Help with genders please? Also, any ideas about which breeds they are would be great- not sure based on scarce internet resources on the matter Thanks #1 (the brown one with white spots) [COLOR=B42000] [/COLOR] #2 (the orange-ish one) #3 (the black one with white spots) #4 (the white one)

i just started having chickens last year.

on my first try i knew i had a rooster.

all i had to do was look at the comb and wattles. now on my second year, i could tell there was a rooster at the age of 3 weeks. its so easy.

I would love gender help. I don't know the exact age but I have had them for 2 weeks so I'm guessing around 3 or 4 weeks.

I have a chicken which I was told is a rooster and is approx. 3 months old. I don't know his breed probably a mix. But he is not crowing, and does not have a comb. So is he actually a rooster?
