I will use my file library but I thought it wonderful to be able to share information and gather info with others. And I did honestly think someone Banned me from editing my own post! " is WHY this rule is in place, you then quoted what you had typed but already erased... (see date stamps) ... that's WHY people can't 'retro edit' it's really annoying because we all lose what you had contributed to the topic.you weren't making enemies but were simply unclear to me what you meant.
So your editing of your post proves the need for the (annoying) rule.
Forum threads are not backed-up the same way documents on a computer are- the backup would usually be an archive of currently non 'bumped'/posted to post, to back up a dynamic post would take lots of room and be counter productive to save every typo. the backups likely- (not exactly but close) also all post that are past the 'edit' date.
