I always thought it was really interesting the whole egg laying thing and always enjoyed the excitement
that I read in the 1st egg posts but...........until today I really didn't understand.

I get it now! I haven't felt so accomplished in a long time and I really didn't do anything.

Congratulations to my ladies for being great chickens and not freeloading off the establishment anymore!!!!!!

Sorry for the illusion......they are my 3 year old daughters hands.

The eggs are about a small-medium size. My wife just finished making oatmeal cookies with them!

Congrats!!! I had a similar post when my started laying this week. I would have never thought I'd get so excited about eggs, but six months waiting is a LONG time.
