In search of silkie chicks near Cincinnati, OH. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I will have some in the spring. I couldn’t find any local around here. I ended up ordering some from a hatchery.

Certainly! My hens usually lay all winter so I continually hatch

That is great news!!! We'd like to get 5 females (as young as possible) the first week of March. When would I need to order them by?

Unfortunately you cannot sex silkies as babies. Too small and can't be vented. So they are straight run.
As newly hatched my minimum to ship is 6-8 (depending on temps at time of shipping). If they are a few weeks older, I can usually safely ship as few as 5 as long as it's not too cold
