Is my peacock “sexy Sam” okay

We are new to chickens a peacocks. We made the mistake of buying birds at an amish auction. Went through a respiratory issue. Got through that. Now to sexy Sam. He was amazing!!!! Always spreading his tail feathers and making noises. Then what seemed overnight - he quit. Sleeps all day, no noises or anything. Lays down all the time. We don’t see him drink. So with a bird guys advise. We caught him and gave water-apple cider- and corid mixture same as we gave chickens. We have given fluids several times over the last few days. No improvements. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated very much.

Yes. It’s Sunday so was hoping for some advice today and looking at taking him to the vet tomorrow.

No he is still very strong and doesn’t seem thin.

If you have a bathroom scale, weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding him, and the difference in weight is his weight. Ideally, he would get no less than 5% of his body weight in fluids each day.

Be sure to have your vet run a fecal exam looking for both cocci and worm eggs.
