Wow, I thought it was a pretty nice looking little coop.

Could you post a pic of your coop? I'd love to see what 'not-crap' looks like.

It looks older and well used but doesn't look like it was built crappy.
Our farm store used to sell what looked just like that. They called them "Amish built". They were built by Amish but it was an Amish design.
They weren't 4' X 6'. Maybe on the outside counting trim but not nest boxes. I always got a chuckle because they were so solidly built and expensive for the amout of chickens they'd hold. Overkill IMO
I'll completely disagree with you. I don't think it's built crappy or out of scrap material and even if it was you couldn't buy a used window in that shape plus the nails or screws and the hardware items for $100.
