I just set 26 silkie eggs and 6 serama eggs, I will join the January hatch- along!!

Are you guys using automatic turners? I got lazy this time, I am using the verticle one that comes with the Hovabator 1588.

I also just set mine. 14 BCM,15 BCM/BR crosses, 3 OEs, and 9 lost in the USPS Bielefelders that I don't expect much from after their 8 day journey.

What causes a sticky chick? I've never had one in any of my hatches before.

Humidity too low? That's what I've heard causes them to get stuck during the hatching process. I'm new to this so very possibly wrong.

I set 12 RIR eggs 1/3/17 and am completely hooked. This is my first go round with eggs and I am nervous and very excited! I'm testing my ability before I attempt a hatch in my classroom. Wish me luck!
