Can these be mixed breeds? If so, this is my entry! This is my Silkie\Serama cross pullet! No name yet, so suggestions are welcome! The best thing about her is her awesome ear color. I've never seen anything like it before! People kept telling us that Silkie\Serama crosses turn out terrible, but I think she's beautiful!

Well done to everyone. It was very very very hard to judge!

Don't miss the July 2016 Chicken Show out tomorrow!

Name: Elsa (like from Frozen - guess who named her)!
Breed: Old English Game Bantam - Silver Duckwing colour
Age: a year and a bit
Elsa recently hatched some chicks for us (two of her babies are below). All 4 chicks turned out to be girls which was great after our previous efforts (under 2 other bantams) of more boys than girls. She was a great Mum but now that she's back in the big coop she's bossing everyone around!

Name: Calypso
Breed: Mottled Pekin Bantam (Cochin Bantam)
Age: 9 weeks
Calypso is incredibly docile and just loves coming out to see the kids and have a cuddle. She has always been super friendly right from the start - a real sweetheart. One of Elsa's babies.

Name: Disco
Breed: Pekin Bantam (Cochin Bantam) - not sure what colour I'd call her - she's not quite white, or cream, or silver and she has one black patch hidden in one wing
Age: 9 weeks
I thought Disco was going to be a boy because she has always been super friendly and totally fearless, and she acted like a boy, always play fighting with Calypso and standing up tall any time danger was about. Thankfully she's a sweet, friendly girl (who bosses the two older chicks around - they are 12 weeks old). She's another of Elsa's babies and she is ultra docile as well. Their two other sisters are more scatter brained though.
