Also culled two more extra males. In the home stretch now, I think I have 10 more total (including hens) that definitely aren't staying. I'll have more this fall hopefully, but I have a few I want to breed before they go

Oh well. I like the magpies more than the silver harlequins Metzer has.

Magpie are nice ducks, I have a blue drake and a white hen. Thinking both her parents were blue which caused her to be white, even though as a duckling she had the blue magpie markings.

Just be aware that the drakes are *extra* horn...uh hormonal.

I'm hoping that my latest drake cull will help the poor girls out. My Magpie's only competition now is the Aylesbury drake. And he doesn't seem interested in the other girls, only his. So far.

@The Moonshiner , would you think it's safe to keep call ducklings with larger ones? Or is there a risk of trampling?
