I think I have some eggs that are fertile. I saw veining. Today is day 10. Someone on my Northern California thread told me to use the flashlight on my iPhone. It worked. I am excited because I didn't think I was going to have any fertile eggs. I think I need to shrink down the air cells some by hey seemed small. Like what they would look at the beginning. What is the lowest I should keep my humidity in the incubator til day 18.it is running about 30 now. My day 18 will be april1

You can do dry hatch method where you let the ambient air be the humidity for the incubator. I tried this once in dry winter CNY and my hatch didn't do well. But, that doesn't mean it won't work for you in Ca and lots of NYC members have great luck with that! Many suggest changes of 5% at a time until you reach your intended result.

I'll definitely take pics! It's day 33 now and no pips yet. 2 eggs wiggling. Definitely too late to be Cayugas!
Would have helped to know what kind of duck you have! Just saw this from Sally's post and thought of you!
