Looking for a Blackberry Cobbler recipe

OK, I made some last night. The top came out beautifully. However, the bottom of the crust was gooey, almost like it wasn't done? The top was going to burn if I left it in any longer.

The only thing I can figure is I let my berries set for 2 days in sugar in the fridge and seemed like instead of syrup, it was watery. Maybe I just had too much liquid.

BTW, how do you tell the difference between a blackberry and a raspberry? I picked mine out in the wild and don't know the difference. Picking either either or sure tears your arms up lol!
