Making the most of it.

I got a piece of clear acrylic at Lowe's I think, for a project I never got around to.  Can't remember how much I paid, but it wasn't much. (Like $10)

Think I'll use it on the side of my brooder box.

My dad just called and said he had plexiglass glass. Lol. I already put glass on it again.

Not at all. MC does the same. She even has a long straw that reaches the water troughs so she doesn't have to get out of bed if she gets thirsty in the middle of the night    @MotorcycleChick

Why are you involving me in your ... Oh. Yeah, coffee in the incubator does make morning easier. Not to mention safer for anyone dumb enough to call before I'm up!

If it happens again, why not look into plexiglass?  It's clear, reasonably flexible, more forgiving than glass, and probably cheaper than glass.

I don't know about the heat retention compared to glass, but i's worth checking into

I often have to remind myself that the incubator is only set at about 102° max. Not really hot enough to melt much of anything. Not foodwise anyway.
Edited to add that i'm not old enough to have to get up in the middle the night for the bathroom.
