Malays from ideal

I know this is an old thread. But I am a breeder of true Malay. Mine have German bloodlines. Ideal does not sell pure Malay as their legs are black. That is not a standard for the true Malay. Their legs must be yellow. I don't think it should be allowed to sell something mixed as a pure bird.

There are no oriental gamefowl available at any hatchery that are really oriental gamefowl. Imagine what a mess there would be if there were?

Luckily, people are used to getting birds from hatcheries that aren't anywhere close to the actual breed represented, so there is absolutely no expectation on anyone's part to get a bird that is even remotely like the breed it is sold as, from a hatchery.
