Mandarin Duck thread ( for posting pictures and discussing)

I would like to let you know that I just tried hatching mandarin duck eggs and peacock eggs that I had shipped and not one hatched out. It was extremely heartbreaking, so I would suggest finding someone local and picking up the eggs or better yet, ordering or picking up a juvenile pair or adult pair and save yourself the money, time, and heartache. I will not buy any more shipped eggs, I've learned my lesson. Mine all developed and got to the last couple days and never absorbed the remaining yolk and then passed away. From what I read this is very common with shipped eggs even if you have your humidity and temp. correct. Good luck!
