Yes you can vaccinate them. The worst that would happen is that it might not work if they were already infected from elsewhere. The vaccine is based on a turkey virus so will not harm the others, but you could check on that by contacting the vaccine manufacturer.

No, that is not true. It's just a bit more difficult.
