I currently own 2 Indian runner ducks and a breeding pair of wood ducks. I want to put some chickens in with my runners, I was thinking of getting 1 Welsummer rooster and 1 Welsummer hen to go with him. If there is just one hen for him will he over breed her? Also an advice on Welsummers or just chickens in general would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest 2 hens at least so he doesn't over breed her. Also, having ducks and chickens in the same coop can get messy.

OK I could do 2. and yeah I bet! I change the coop once a week already just so they always have fresh hay to sleep on.

If they have somewhere to go outside like free ranging or a run it should be just fine. Remember not to count that pool/pond as space.
