Including a picture of their climate-controlled enclosure. i add a fresh sawdust layer every day. Gonna miss these ducklings when they're at their new home in 2 weeks =(
They went to their new home yesterday evening. A 20 acre fenced farm with other farm animals (goats, sheep, pigs), and some other ducks. Beautiful place with a huge pond, and completely enclosed (the farm has dogs that roam around too to protect the animals from predators). Confident they'll live a great life out there, and I'll go visit them. what a pleasure it was to raise these 14 little ducks. Wish I could have kept them longer, but they needed to be in a much larger enclosure than the 10x20' I built for them, so it was the right thing to do. Amazing to watch how fast they grew. They were literally doubling in size every week. These pictures are them at less than 6 weeks (yesterday)!
