There is a separate area for the sale birds, but they are only for exhibitors - it's not just a general sale.

By general sale, you mean that the public can not purchase at the show? Or do you mean that only exhibitors can sell? Just curious in case I get the boot for asking to buy

As far as I know, only exhibitors can sell but anyone can buy.

Anyone can buy, only exhibitors can sell.
It's a way of trying to keep only healthy birds for sale.
Exhibitors have the NPIP paperwork submitted with the entries, so we are "clean"
Anyone off the street, who knows the health of the birds.
