Lately I've seen alot of ' Is this a Pullet Or a Cockerel? ' posts. If you post a picture of your chick/chicken I will try and identify its gender for you.

I got three Snowy EE girls from My Pet Chicken nearly 6 weeks ago. Supposed to be pullets- we have a suspected boy. I’m going to post all three for comparison.
comb type: Peacomb
Breed: Snowy EE

These are the chicks at 5 weeks

Chick 1 - Bitty

This is Fluffy at almost 6 weeks
(The comb started getting a lot redder right after I took the pics above, so I thought I should post this too)

Fluffy’s much bigger than the other two, with larger feet, a LOT more comb growth, and comb redness. The other two have one row of their pea comb, Fluffy has three rows (I believe that is another sign of cockerel?).

Thoughts?

Hi guys, new to this and was after some help with gender. We have 4x 3 week old chicks we got from a friend, unknown breed but could be any of Sussex, Rhode Island Red, Wyndottes, Plymouth Rocks, Frizzle, Bantam, Isa Brown's, New Hampshire, Araucana and australop as thats what they have! We picked 4 different colours but I feel we might be very unlucky with the rooster situation!

Chick 1- Chirpy- gentle and affectionate, we had high hopes till the wattle started going brighter.

Chick 2- Oreo- Quite dominant with a awesome tail!

Chick 4- Nuno- pretty sure he's a rooster!

Chick 4- Neves- My only hope, i think!

Correct. Give Oreo a little bit more time but Nuno and Chirpy go in the cockerel pen for sure.

Enjoy Neves’ company ——- probably a pullet.

@kerrialexander. Hm, not too sure. I’d say pullet from the lack of comb and wattle development but looking at the tail I’m not 100%. Feel free to send another photo in a few weeks time =)

@Eyehartephotography. Looks like Corey is a cockerel!

@afieldssnowyegger. Currently Fluffy isn’t looking super cockerel-ish from the head. But since you also said it has bigger feet and is bigger in general, it could be an indication that he’s a boy. It would help to have some body photos, too.

@cathjpask. Eek! The first three are all cockerels for sure, and I’m thinking Neve could be a boy too. Neve looks like he/she has quite a big body and comb looks rather red too for a 3 week old. Fingers crossed she turns out to be a girl though.
