Not sure what kind of duck this is, was supposed to be a perkin.

I got 2 ducks one is a mallard the other was supposed to be a perkin. It is not a Perkin. Can someone tell me what I have

Yellow, and I got them from Tractor Supply

the head is getting Darker than the rest of “her “ body.
Interesting. They do look more yellow as ducklings so might have been put in the wrong bin. The Buffs have a bit of an eye line though. That's the only explanation I can find for him not being a Pekin!

I would say you got lucky, personally. I love Buffs, plus Pekin tend to have more health issues having been bred to be meat birds.

I’m gonna say I got lucky also, I love that duck, and so beautiful. So do you think I have a boy? I know my Mallard is a girl they’re very easy to tell.
