You might check out the Buckeye thread ('Where am I, Where are you" ..."OHIO--C'mon Buckeye's, Where Are you?"). There are two chicken swaps planned, one in Mt.Orab September 7th, the other in Delaware at Champion Feed on October 6th. You could check to see if there will be any quail there...

Have a look at the link. Sounds like they're not cold hardy. I'd make sure I insulated the coop well, etc.
