We think this is a pavlovskaya, which is a rare breed, can anyone confirm/tell us what breed it is?

Having looked at several Pavlovshaya pics - I'm not sure. But it is a stunning bird regardless of breed!

I am more inclined to say Sultan. The Pavlovskaya have a more upright crest. Still a Sultan is a rare breed too. How many toes does it have?

I agree, that is a Sultan. Some hatcheries sell Sultans.

Not sure if this is a hatchery/SQ issue, but sultan have muffs, beards, and are white....
(There's black too, but that's super rare)

That is the right number for a Sultan. I don't recall reading that the Pavlovskaya have more than the normal four.
