Hello, and welcome to BYC. Peafowl are very loud.

BROOKFIELD ZOO in the Riverside area of Illinois has free ranging Peafowl & Guineas, they make quite a racket. The last time we visited there a Guinea was pursuing a Peafowl, screeching and flying just over it's head. One of the zoo workers said the guinea believes the Peafowl is it's mother and follows it everywhere.

I hope that it is worked out between them before we go for the next zoo visit. SMH

According to my girlfriend and mother who both used to have them they would be WAY to loud and the neighbors would hate you

But, then of course if you hate your neighbors, that's probably a great way to meet the police.
