I know ringneck hens do. They think they are invisible. I wouldn't doubt that Red golden's would

They are timid at first and hide until they get use to their surroundings,sometimes for days.

They are also very stressed right now.

They don't seem to the first day but then they will.

Like everyone else said, they are scared and timid, much more so than chickens, it's normal for them. They will settle in a few days. Just give them their alone time to get adjusted, they will be okay. How is the little fuzzy boy? Bet he likes his hen!
