I bought a parakeet nearly two weeks ago and have yet spent over $200 on vet bills trying to get him better. He is so uncoordinated and he falls over every time he tries to walk. The vet suspected that he had an upper respiratory infection and we treated him for it. It didn't work. He is now worse and has almost no muscle mass. He can't even bite me like he used to. He flings his head back and stumbles all day long. I need help and he is running out of time. He almost wasted away Saturday and I spent all afternoon and well into the night at the emergency vet. If anyone has any information please, please help us. I don't know what I would do without my little guy.
