Post here if you DON'T wash clean-looking eggs

Really? If they are in need of a wash you won't eat them? Huh... LOL.

All my eggs are always nice and clean looking. I think if I had an open top nest box that might be different...

I only wash 'em if there's gloppy poop caked on. Otherwise, they go in the pan as-is.

i guess i'm the obsessive one here
i take a mr. clean magic eraser(no soap of course) and rub off the dirty spots on mine
then a quick rinse under very hot water
dont know if thats considered washing or not LOL

We do not wash any of our eggs unless a customer requests them washed (2 do right now) We do use a moist clean cloth to remove soiled spots if needed.

I rinse my eggs even if their clean I like a nice shiny clean egg though I skip some

Eggs are protected by the bloom and about 95% of mine are clean; I wouldn't wash the clean ones because I value the bloom.

I will take a wash cloth, slightly warmer than the temperature of the egg, and wipe a bit of dirt off if I find one that needs it. Those eggs go to my dogs.

I don't wash because of the bloom. If they are dirty I will wash the ones I sell to others. But those are very few.
