I love my Nankin rooster. He is calm and very sweet. He takes care of his girls... well, now actually only one girl. My dog killed the other one...

When they are scratching in the yard, if he finds a good morsel, he calls his girl over and gives it to her. When we feed them grapes, he is always giving his to her.

I think my Nankin rooster is so pretty. I want a painting of him for my kitchen wall. I still need to come up with a name for him. We've only had the Nankins for about a month.

Oh, I love your names! I've got to come up with one for my guy. He's so regal and classy. I want it to be special.

Then, we've also got three Barred Rocks... two hens and a rooster. But they are only about 2 months old. They are hilarious the way they dash around! I probably shouldn't tell you the names my husband and daughter came up with for them!
