I always have to ask.... I figured about twenty five feet. Can you access the coop part from the run? for gathering eggs and such?
IN my world I have to Keep the nest boxes located inside in the shade. and any work that needs to be done I need to be inside because It gets 105 to 110 for a week or so in the summer.
I have a door at the ends of the run and coop. There's also a door on side of coop for cleaning, ect... I put ventilation under the whole length of roof on the coop. I've never had any trouble with anything. My only thought is that next time I'll do a touch smaller side windows and I'll add storage over top of the nesting boxes...I always have to ask....
