Post Your First Egg Pics-Part 2

Pics
These are the other eggs that have been laid...5/8 of them are cracked (1 not pictured because I ate it). They scratch out all the bedding in the nesting boxes and lay on the plywood but the crack looks like it’s from them pecking it? They also lay in this particularly heavily branched area that’s hard to get to haha. Any advice? Why won’t they lay in their boxes 🙁. Do you think they’re pecking their eggs or they’re just cracking on the hard surface?

My first egg last Wednesday. So tiny but looks perfect. It surprised me, because it was our small runt RI Sienna who is laying. She gave us 1 more Friday. 1 every other day since. She was 19 weeks old last week. Her 2 sisters haven’t started yet.

I first thought it was Ginger, she’s the Alpha and her comb and waddle are the reddest and largest, but she’s never in the coop?? We always see Sienna only in and out of the nesting boxes. Here is Ginger
