All of the Langshans in the US are considered to be Croad or at least descended from the Croad. Many still lay these plum colored eggs and many do not. It would be a shame to lose the body conformation for egg color in this breed.

This is the most beautiful carton of eggs I've ever seen! Such lovely colors and varying egg sizes! A carton full of happy.
Don't you just love different colors?? Very pretty carton. I just hatched out some chicks for my project and trying to get a deep rose to work with. I stuck some white egg layers in to check to see what the roo I have is throwing. I hate the wait! LOL
Nope, not the way it's working. You just have to know what colors to look for.Whatever color egg the roo came out of is about the color the chicks will lay. If you have a americauna roo with brown egg laying hens you will get green.
