Rouen Duck thread

My eggs are at day 28 and at least 1 is peeping and moving but nothing coming out of the egg yet. How long does it take for them to crack the egg??

It can be anywhere from an hour to a week . My last baby took a week and when it hatched it didn't make it for longer after that it died today .

must have been some good snacks 6-weeks

Maybe a mix or an Appleyard? Not sure. Browse the net for different breed pics. Would be my best bet too!

Finally it happened

Congrats on your new arrival! Just put 3 more Rouen eggs in the bator from our girl as she is only partially sitting. Had one girl hatch about 3 weeks ago. Yes, she is quaking already! Lol
