The picture doesn't even show how dark they were. Ladycat said they were mostly 8's with a few 7's and a few 9's. They were amazing and very dark and very large. I think I can tell already on some which are cockerels. Kern

Some of the eggs look lighter because many of the eggs were badly soiled and covered in dried mud etc. I tried to sand the mud off and it took away some of the color. Kern

I bought really dark Black Cooper eggs from Ladycat in Texas and hatched 8 chicks. At least four are cockerals. They are

three weeks old. Kern

Beautiful eggs! Where did they ship from? I have the hardest time hatching shipped eggs even when I follow the directions for shipped eggs.

Not everyone has told me what they are bringing. Usually we are swamped with desserts but not at all so far.
