well peafowl are not pheasants...thats super funny tho
Peafowl are members of the Pavoninidae family
Pheasants are members of the Phasianidae family
however peacock pheasants are....

ahhh...you got me before the edit went thru...wikipedia says they are apart of something together thats y i deleted it.....lol....so not sure of the specifics on that...i think they share the same genus...but not the same family...not sure what that all means but....lol your quick turk
