Hi, my little two week old chick, Pumpkin is apparently a silkie. I know she's not 100% silkie. I'm not actually sure if she has any silkie at all? The breeder says her parents are a chocolate silkie hen and a white silkie roo. But I dont get the lacing.
His other breeds are RIR's, & lavender bobtails. I wondered if there had been a 'meeting' with one of his other breeds..but then I cant work out the colouring.

What are your thoughts?

I had a silkie roo who bred with my golden penciled Hamburg and my americauna hens. Got some beautiful birds! Unfortunately the dad and the more brightly colored babies got attacked by a raccoon ;(
