This is Sabrina, hatched yesterday from the only surviving Sebastapol egg. Luckily, I have a great friend and coworker who will also supply us with a mate for her.

Got 11 Cream Legbars and 11 Birchen Marans this go round, out of 35 eggs, 14 were Legbars and 21 were Marans. It's hard to candle those dark eggs! I think some are dis, but haven't checked. All 3 of the unhatched Legbar eggs were quitters.

It is always exciting! I love the very first signs of a real live bird in an egg, I think it is the most amazing thing!
