Hi at the moment I'm raising 2 calico Cochins and a frizzle Cochin I beliv my two calico Cochins are Roos does your Cochin raise her/his hackles does she/he stand tall and puff out the chest??? Some more pics of Amy might help too!!!

Sometimes he’ll come at the other chicks standing tall and or aggressively pecking once or twice more viciously than say the other chicks pecking at food or something. But other than that no.

Does he/she seem less developed then the other chick? The combs not very big but still I will try tand find some pics of my Cochins who I am sure are roosters they are six weeks old and always fighting each other!!!

Yes, he’s been the slowest to develop compared to all my other chicks, including my other Cochin

I forgot to mention, Molly is a Cuckoo Maran, Stevie is a speckled Sussex, Ginny is an Ameraucana, Cherry is a Buckeye, and Ella is a lavender Orpington ! (All according to the seller)

I got them at a local farm, she got them from a hatchery (I’m not sure which hatchery tho)

How are your birds coming along? From what I have learned, behaviour at this age doesn't have a whole lot of bearing on sexing.
