hello we are in central texas, we are just starting our breed stock off too. so far i have 15 BR, 10 RIR, and 3 brunner roundheads. the BR and RIR are 5 weeks old today, and our brunners are about 3 weeks old

I know this thread is a bit old but Im hoping everyone is still active! We've just started up our coop. Im looking for a Barred Rock roo and a speckled sussex roo if anyone has one available for sale or know where I can locate one?

Hi Ruby,

I see you are from Gatesville. I am located in Somerville, but lived in Moffat from 2001-2006. I have 5 rir hens, 2 easter eggers (roo & hen), 7 french guineas, 4 pied guineas, 5 white leghorn roos (4 in which i need to get rid of), 2 white leghorn hens, 3 blue cochins (1 roo & 2 hens), and 5 Black Australorps. Once the hens start laying, I will start hatching chicks and such if anyone would be interested in trading/selling/buying.
