Thanks! The pip happened at some point overnight so I'm not totally sure. My incubator is homemade and I no longer have a working humidity monitor. I'm keeping the wet paper towel over it and just watching to make sure he/she is still active. I've found a good thread on here and trying to follow directions. I guess I just needed some moral support!

So far one is out and she's flopping around and chirping every 5 mins and napping in between. I think she (I have no idea of true sex) wore herself out trying to stand!

My daughter just told me I need to look into being a midwife for animals since I'm always around for the births/deliveries of our pets lol

I'm watching a documentary on Netflix (Sustainable).....which is leading me to research planting red clover in the garden.
Anyone heard about using this for giving the soil nitrogen?

I use beans.......even in the fall/winter.......plus it gives me something to harvest....

not to mention, I also rotate utilizing green beans for the same thing....

So it turned out okay! that is good news.

yep! Now she is hop-waddling all over the incubator while egg 2 of 3 is trying to hatch. I'm so thrilled since this is my very first hatch
